Burn In Hell, Saddam

The room was silent.
The trap door swung open, the law of gravity and Saddam’s weight dropped him to his death as his neck snapped. His body was left to hang suspended from his death noose. A doctor stepped forward and verified there was no longer a heartbeat.
Many people died during his too long trial. Lawyers defending him were murdered, innocent children were killed just because they were in the vicinity of bombs blown up, set by his loyalists.
The death of these innocents could have been avoided if the troops who captured Saddam had simply shot him dead while he cowered in his spider hole. The entire cost of his execution could have been had for the price of one bullet. That would have been more mercy than he ever showed any of his victims.

I agree that he should have just been shot in that spiderhole, but as Duane said - we are not allowed to do that. We always have to take the high road. I'm so sick of taking the high road that I could just puke.
Atleast he's dead and he's dead at the hands of Iraqi. The ones who barely survived his reign of brutality and terror.
